I was looking at Van Gogh's Wheatfield with Crows which is worth about £100million. I'm hoping that mine might be worth a millionth of that!! Well a bit more than that. This is a 24" x 20" unframed painting on Art board. For sale at £250.

My impressionistic painting is based on the title of Van Gogh's painting but it is obviously very different in approach. I thought of the quote about the artist being "overwhelmed by beauty’s power" and tried to convey some of the feelings and colours induced by the approaching storm.
